PURPOSE: To automatically set a character pattern in accordance with its using frequency by processing the character pattern which is saved into a 2nd auxiliary memory at reuse of an information processor after loading the character pattern into a character pattern buffer.
CONSTITUTION: When a user switch 8 is turned on, a system has a rise and the contents of a 2nd auxiliary memory 17 are stored in an area B of a character pattern buffer 14. The contents of the area B are saved into the memory 17 at the end of the system after the switch 8 is turned off. A text memory 18 stores the codes and the attributes of the characters inputted by the users with correspondence between them. In a working state of the system, a processor 10 reads successively the codes and attributes of each sentence out of the memory 18. Then the processor 10 extracts the basic attributes like the format and the thickness out of those read attributes and stores them. A character pattern control table 16 is checked based on the read character codes and attributes and the positions of the necessary character patterns are detected. Thus these character patterns are taken out. These patterns are evolved onto a bit map memory 13 after undergoing the designation of the qualified attributes.
