Abstract:
To accurately convert a character string not including Kanji and Hiragana into a Kana-Kanji sentence.SOLUTION: A character string classification unit classifies a character string to be processed into either of a character string before conversion (refer to arrows A, B of Fig.9(a)) and a character string after conversion. When the character string to be processed is classified into the character string after conversion, a frequency updating unit updates a frequency DB 44 by information on words included in the character string to be processed. Moreover, when the character string to be processed is classified into the character string before conversion, a character string conversion unit refers to the frequency DB, and converts the words included in the character string to be processed into the Kana-Kanji sentence (refer to arrows A', B' of Fig.9(b)).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
