Abstract:
To provide a charcoal package allowing anyone to easily ignite charcoal.SOLUTION: A charcoal package 1 of the present invention is a pile of charcoal 11 piling up in such a manner as to surround the side face of a combustible solid post 31 and the pile of charcoal is further wrapped by a combustible packing material 5. When igniting the packing material 5, the fire spread to the solid post 31 and an air intake port 2a in the bottom surface of the charcoal package is opened. The combustion of the solid post 31 generates updraft through an air passageway 2c. The updraft makes combustion gas exhausted through an exhaust port 2b on the upper part of the charcoal package and at the same time, air is supplied through the air intake port 2a. Thereby combustion of the solid port 31 and charcoal 11 is promoted, so ignition of the charcoal 11 is facilitated. After igniting the charcoal 11, it can be used for cooking including a barbecue through destroying the pile of charcoal 11 and spreading those all over.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
