Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can short-circuit at an appropriate time a resistor for rush current suppression which is connected in series with a capacitor, irrespective of the ambient temperature of the resistor.SOLUTION: In the former stage of a capacitor 12 in a charge control device 5, a resistor 14 is connected in series. A contact element 15a is connected in parallel to the resistor 14. A control unit 19, when activated after power switched on, detects the ambient temperature of the resistor 14 by a temperature detection element 13 disposed in the vicinity of the resistor 14. From the detected ambient temperature, the control unit 19 calculates a latency time before outputting a contact point signal to short-circuit the contact element 15a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
