Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge paying system for a portable telephone and a charge paying method preventing illegal behavior due to the unpaid telephone charge of the portable telephone equipment.
SOLUTION: This system is provided with a remainder storing means 11 storing the remainder of a telephone charge deposited in a portable telephone company in advance by coordinating with each portable telephone equipment, a remainder updating means 14 calculating the telephone charge by each portable telephone equipment and updating the remainder of the means 11 according to it, and a line interrupting means 15 interrupting the line of a portable telephone equipment when the remainder of the means 11 becomes zero. In addition, a line only for paying a telephone charge is provided and a remainder replenishing means 17 replenishing a deposit by adding the telephone charge of coins or the remaining part of a telephone card thrown into a public telephone equipment 18 to the remainder of the means 11 in the state of connecting the equipment 18 to this line is provided.
