To reduce a die area and to reduce power consumption, in a differential-switching-system charge pump circuit including: current-supplying and current-drawing constant current sources; a main-output side current path comprising two switch elements, which are provided between the constant current sources and connected in series, and having a first output terminal; and a sub-output side current path comprising two switch elements likewise and having a second output terminal; wherein the respective switch elements, in a switch of the main-output side current path and the sub-output side current path, are opened and closed in response to a drive signal from a phase comparator, and a positive or negative current pulse is outputted from the first output terminal.
A glitch compensation circuit 36 is configured by using a comparator 37, a latch circuit 38, a capacitor C1, and a charge/discharge device Q9 and Q10, to compensate for a slow glitch which occurs accompanying charge/discharge in a parasitic capacitance of constant current sources Q3 and Q4, resulting from a difference between a potential, between the switch elements Q7 and Q8 of the main-output side current path, and a potential, between the switch elements Q5 and Q6 of the sub-output side current path.
