To provide an organophotoreceptor containing a charge transporting composition having superior electrostatic characteristics such as high Vacc (charge potential) and low Vdis (exposure potential).
The organophotoreceptor comprises a conductive supporting body and a photoconductive element on the conductive supporting body. The photoconductive element contains a polymer charge transporting composition expressed by general formula (1) and a charge generating compound. In formula (1), each of Y1 and Y2 independently represents an arylamine group; each of X1 and X2 independently represents a connecting group; each of R1 and R2 independently represents hydrogen, an alkyl group, alkenyl group, heterocyclic group, or aromatic group; Z represents a bridging group; and n is the distribution of integers between 1 and 100,000 with an average larger than 1.
