Abstract:
To simplify a configuration of a charged particle beam deflection device for deflecting a charged particle beam.SOLUTION: A charged particle beam deflection device 2 includes coils 61A and 61B whose one ends are commonly connected to each other and which generate magnetic fields in different directions. The coils 61A and 61B are included in a scanning electromagnet for running a charged particle beam. The charged particle beam deflection device 2 includes an electromagnet control unit 70. The electromagnet control unit 70 switches an electric potential at each of a common connection end P2 of the coils 61A and 61B, an upper end P1 of the coil 61A, and a lower end P3 of the coil 61B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
