Abstract:

PURPOSE: To always maintain a secondary cell in a fully-charged state by boosting an output voltage of a solar cell and supplying it to the cell.
CONSTITUTION: A solar cell 101 has a tandem type in which two or more layers of photoelectric conversion semiconductor layers made of amorphous silicon are superposed in a thin flexible conductive substrate state. Power generated from the cell 101 is stepped up by a booster 102, and supplied to a secondary cell (e.g. a lithium secondary cell) 103. Thus, a solar cell module integrally having a charging function in which the cell 103 can be always maintained in a full-charged state can be obtained.
