To provide a charger in which a concave shape for circumventing a plug is provided in a case, so that the plug can be inserted even into an adjoining outlet when the charger is used.
An AC plug being connected with an AC power supply for supplying power to a charging circuit is fixed rotatably to a part of a resin case housing the charging circuit, so that the AC plug can be housed in a housing recess when it is not used and a charged battery mounting part, on which a battery being charged with the output from the charging circuit is mounted removably, is provided. In such a charger, a circumvention part consisting of a circular concave part for circumventing a protrusion at a part of other plug for connection with an adjoining outlet, while being connected with an outlet as an AC power supply, is provided at a part of the outer periphery of the resin case.
