Abstract:
To solve the problem that charging for a default time in an on-pulse period may result in insufficient charging depending on the capacity of a lead-acid battery.SOLUTION: In each on-pulse period of pulse charging for a lead-acid battery group containing one or more lead-acid batteries, a charge control method includes a constant current charging stage in which the lead-acid battery group is charged by constant current charging until a voltage of the lead-acid battery group reaches a reference voltage and a constant voltage charging stage in which the lead-acid battery group is charged by constant-voltage charging until a current flowing through the lead-acid battery group becomes less than a reference current after the constant current charging stage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
