Abstract:
This charge control method includes: an information acquisition step for acquiring information related to the state of charge of a storage battery that stores electric power for vehicle travel and the temperature of the storage battery; and a selection step for selecting, on the basis of the state of charge and the temperature, a first mode in which the storage battery is charged from a charging device, a second mode in which, when heating of the storage battery is unnecessary and the storage battery is fully charged, charging is interrupted and power is supplied from the charging device to a mounted device mounted in a vehicle, a third mode in which the temperature of the storage battery is raised by supplying power from the charging device to a heater while the supply of power from the storage battery to the heater is stopped, or a fourth mode in which the temperature of the storage battery is raised by supplying power from the storage battery to the heater while the supply of power from the charging device to the heater is stopped. This charge control method is executed by the vehicle.
