Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate deterioration when battery charging is started.SOLUTION: After the charge of a high-voltage battery 220 is started and after the lapse of a predetermined discharge start time, a charge control system 200 outputs a discharge start command, which is a signal to start the discharge of the high-voltage battery 220, from a vehicle control device 250 to a battery control device 222, as first processing. According to the discharge start command output by the first processing, as second processing, the battery control device 222 estimates the deterioration state of the high-voltage battery 220 on the basis of the characteristic of the high-voltage battery 220 when the high-voltage battery 220 is discharged. After such estimation of the deterioration state of high-voltage battery 220, as third processing, the vehicle control device 250 outputs a charge start command, which is a signal to resume charging the high-voltage battery 220, to a charger control device 211.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
