Abstract:
To provide a charging member of superior cleaning properties, and an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge equipped with the charging member.
The charging member, having a core material and a laminate of at least two layer structure formed at the outer periphery of the core material and contacting an image holder for charging the surface of the image holder, has cracks in the surface of an outermost layer of the laminate, and the image forming apparatus and the process cartridge are equipped with this charging member.
