Title:
CHARGING POWER GENERATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011193706
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent a main battery from being discharged when power consumption of an electric load which is not connected with a power diode for an isolator exceeds the power generated by a charging power generator when a vehicle is traveling.

A charging power generation system includes a charging power generator having a field winding, an armature winding, a rectifier, and a voltage control section which controls field current flowing through the field winding based on voltages of a main battery and a sub-battery. Further, the charging power generation system includes: a power diode for an isolator which supplies DC current to both main- and sub-batteries in one direction to prevent current from being supplied mutually between the main- and sub-batteries, an electric load which is connected with a voltage adjustment section, but not connected with the main battery or the sub-battery, a key SW which is connected with the main battery, and a relay module which is connected with the voltage adjustment section and the key SW to prevent the main battery from being discharged when the power consumed by the electric load exceeds the power generated by the charging power generator.
