To provide a charging cradle and portable device, wherein a portable device can be set in a regular position of a charging cradle, by inserting the locking hook into the counterbore hole without forming a special recess for guiding the locking hook.
This charging cradle and portable device comprise: a charging cradle 10; and a portable device 30 which is removably set in the charging cradle 10. The charging cradle 10 has a locking hook 12 for holding the portable device 30 at a regular position. The portable device 30 has a locking recess 32 on the case surface for locking the locking hook 12 of the charging cradle 10, and is held at the regular position in the charging cradle 10 by guiding the locking hook 12 in the locking recess 32. A locking screw 34 is screwed into the portable device 30 through a case 31 as to make a head 34A position in the locking recess 32. In the portable device 30, a counterbore hole for inserting the head 34A of the locking screw 34 in the locking recess 32 is used at the same time as a recess for locking the locking hook 12.
