Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable exact charging at a call originating source in the case of call origination through an ISDN leased line network.
SOLUTION: When originating a call from an extension terminal 10-a of a PBX 1-a (Tokyo) transmitted through an ISDN leased line network 4-a, PBX 1-b (Osaka) and ISDN leased line network 4-b by a PBX 1-c (Fukuoka) to a public network 2-c, display information showing the used route of the ISDN leased line networks 4 to the connection to the public network 2-c and a dial originating the call to the public network is transmitted to the PBX 1-a (Tokyo). This display information transmitted from the PBX 1-c (Fukuoka) through the PBX 1-b (Osaka) is received and applied to a charging processor 6-a by the PBX 1-a (Tokyo) so that the tariff can be exactly calculated at the charging processor 6-a of the call originating source.
