PURPOSE: To obtain an active chassis control system capable of considering various type running states by obtaining an amount for displaying a dynamic motion state of a vertical direction of a running style of a vehicle and/or a driving wheel based on a relative movement between a vehicle body and a wheel unit and changing a control parameter of chassis characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: A selective logic circuit 105 compares an effective value or a peak value of a spring displaced position or a spring displacing speed detected by a first unit 101 with a threshold value, and supplies a control parameter RP to a controller 107 according to a compared result. A sensor signal from a second means 112 is supplied to a second unit 102 for measuring a drier's running style to evaluate it. The means 112 detects a longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle, the circuit 105 compares, for example, an effective value ALeff and/or the peak value ALmax with one another or with the threshold value, and the parameter RP of the unit 107 is conformed to the driver's style by using, for example, a table 106 by using the compared result.
