Abstract:

To prevent illegal unlocking or the like that is done by an illegal checking operation on a keyless entry' device which receives a code signal, checks the input code received with a prestored code, and performs locking or unlocking action according to the result checked.

A central processing unit 23 on the receiving side determines whether or not an input code received has similarity to a stored code, and, when a specified number or more of input codes received that have similarity are received within a specified time, determines that illegal checking has been done. When illegal checking has been identified, the command to operate an actuator 25 is inhibited by the central processing unit 23 to disable locking or unlocking action.
