Abstract:
To provide a chemical decontamination method and a chemical decontamination method which suppress deterioration in a metal ion exchange resin, and enable decontamination at low cost in a short time.SOLUTION: A chemical decontamination method includes a reduction decontamination step of supplying a reduction decontamination liquid to a decontamination object part, and reducing and decontaminating the surface of a member constituting the decontamination object part, a step (S609) of determining water conduction of a reduction decontamination waste liquid to a cation resin tower using iron ion concentration as a determination reference by a reduction decontamination agent decomposition step (S600) after the reduction decontamination step (S5), and has a step (S610) of configuring opening/closing of a valve so as to prevent the reduction decontamination waste liquid during decomposition treatment from flowing into an ion exchange resin tower when the iron ion concentration is not lower than such concentration as to suppress decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
