PURPOSE: To permit continuous operation and energy saving, by a method wherein an evaporator and a condenser are provided separately, further, two sets of reactors are provided while a changeover valve, switching a pipeline so that either one of the condenser or the reactor is connected for operation, is also installed.
CONSTITUTION: Operating fluid 5, evaporated in an evaporator 4, is introduced into a first reactor 1 by a changeover valve 8 to generate hydrating reaction into a chemical heat accumulating material 3 and generate a high temperature. In this case, a second reactor 2 is connected to the side of a condenser 6 by the changeover valve 9 while vapor, generated by dehydrating reaction in the reactor, is condensed and liquefied in the condenser 6 and is sent to the evaporator by a pump 7. When the hydrating reaction is finished in the first reactor 1, the first reactor 1 is connected to the condenser 6 and the second reactor 2 is connected to the evaporator 4 through the changeover valve 8 whereby high temperature is outputted by the hydrating reaction in the second reactor 2 while the chemical heat accumulating material 3 is reproduced by the dehydrating reaction in the first reactor 1. The first reactor and the second reactor are used alternately in such a manner and the vapor, generated by dehydrating reaction, is condensed and sent into the evaporator by the pump, therefore, the operation of a heat pump is permitted continuously while the condenser and the evaporator are installed separately, therefore, the loss of energy may be very small.
