To obtain chemical-resistant pipe excellent in liquid-blocking property and having high strength at a low cost, by impregnating and/or covering the inner side of the pipe section formed by cement-based material comprising at least cement, fine aggregate, chloroprene and water with chloroprene.
This chemical-resistant pipe is mainly used as a Hume pipe for civil engineering and construction and is produced according to the following processes: (1) pouring into a rotary molding apparatus cement-type base material such as cement, fine aggregate, etc., with water; (2) further pouring mortar added with cation-type chloroprene latex without unmolding it just as it is and then removing water followed by finishing molding; (3) unmolding to form the pipe section. It is suitable that the ratio of chloroprene to cement is about 3-20 wt.% and the ratio of fine aggregate to cement is about 0-300 wt.%.
