Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical treatment apparatus capable of detecting abnormal conveyance of a long sheet-like workpiece 10.SOLUTION: A chemical treatment apparatus comprises: a workpiece supply device which continuously supplies a long sheet-like workpiece; a workpiece conveying device; a chemical treatment tank arranged between the devices; and a workpiece conveying device which has top and bottom end conveyance clamp 7,9 groups which clamp top and bottom ends of a workpiece in which the clamp groups are attached to an upper endless belt 6 and a lower endless belt 8 at an equal gap, convey the workpiece by a fixed size, and the clamp groups sequentially open at the end of conveyance, in which the upper endless belt and the lower endless belt are synchronously conveyed. A plurality of detection marks are provided for each endless belt at an equal gap over a conveyance direction, and an error of synchronously conveyance is detected when a difference of a first and an n-th mark detection time at the time when a detection mark of each endless belt is detected by upper and lower sensors exceeds "an allowable difference value".
