Abstract:
To prevent the formation of a great gap between a chimney unit and a heat insulation material by enabling the flexible heat insulation material for a telescopic joint part of a chimney for a building to be not only compressed in response to the relative displacement of two chimney units but also elongated and deformed.SOLUTION: A plurality of cylindrical chimney units 10 are jointly set in a chimney axial direction and supported on a building 1. An annular telescopic joint part 20 is laid between two chimney units 11, 12 neighboring each other in a mutually approachable/separable manner. The telescopic joint part 20 includes a soft heat insulation material 21, a flexible outer periphery cover 22, and an inner periphery sleeve 23. At the opposed ends of the chimney units 11, 12, lock pins 40 intersecting with the chimney axial direction are provided via connection means 31, 32, respectively. The lock pins 40 are stuck into the heat insulation material 21 and locked thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
