Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the surface of a workpiece from being flawed by chips, by sucking the chips produced from the workpiece with a nozzle, withdrawing them rearward through a chip guide pipe with pinch rollers and then cutting them by a predetermined length.
CONSTITUTION: Flow of chips 15 produced from a workpiece 11 cut by a cutting tool 12 is sucked by a sucker 14 to be withdrawn rearward through a cutting guide pipe 16 by a pair of pinch rollers 18, 19, and then cut at a predetermined length by cutting edges 27 of a pair of cutting rolls 25, 26 provided behind the pinch rollers 18, 19. Said length is cut once a revolution of rolls 25, 26.
