Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce chip-shaped electronic components more steadily into a lineup passage, in a chip-shaped electronic component feeder, which is equipped with a member for a lineup-passage which agitates chip-shaped electronic components being about to be discharged from a discharge port, by reciprocating within the discharge port of a hopper to reserve a plurality of chip-shaped electronic components, and in which a tubular lineup passage for receiving only the chip-shaped electronic components directed in the specified lineup direction is made.
SOLUTION: A member for forming lineup passage 10a is driven to rotate in the direction of, for example, an arrow 17 around the axis, interlocking with the thrust operation in the direction of, for example, an arrow 16 when the member for lineup passage 10a reciprocates. As a result, the agitating action by rotation works on the chip-shaped electronic components 6 in addition to the reciprocation, and the efficiency of the agitation to accelerate the introduction of the chip-shaped electronic components 6 into the lineup passage 9 is raised more.
