To provide a chipping device for chipping a deteriorated part of a narrow section formed by end faces of concrete bridge beams facing each other, and to provide a repairing method.
The chipping device 1 comprises; a nozzle 7 formed to be insertible into the narrow section 73 where the end faces 75 of the concrete bridge beams face each other, and mounted on one end of a pipe body 9 through which high-pressure water is supplied; a pipe body support 11 hanging the nozzle at the lower end and rotatably supporting the pipe body; a driving means 27 rotatively driving the pipe body; a supporting frame 13 supporting the pipe support; a base 15 on which the supporting frame is placed so that the supporting frame may travel in a horizontal direction; and a travel driving means 19 for making the supporting frame travel. The chipping device 1 is placed on forks 31 of a forklift 29. The nozzle is positioned at the narrow section, rotated while jetting the high-pressure water from the nozzle, moved horizontally along the narrow section, and then is moved in a direction of the depth. The operation is repeated to chip the deteriorated concrete of the narrow section.
