Abstract:

PURPOSE:To prepare a chitosan-phthalocyanine compd. excellent in the moldability, resistance to water washing, and deodorizing capability by selecting a condensation product of chitosan with a specific phthalocyanine deriv. (salt). CONSTITUTION:A condensation product of chitosan with a phthalocyanine deriv. (salt) of the formula, MPc-(COOH)n (wherein Pc is phthalocyanine ring; M is H or a metal atom; and (n) is 1-8) (e.g. iron phthalocyanine-tetracarboxylic acid) is selected.
