Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorine-containing plastic which can reduce the production of injurious gases such as hydrogen chloride, organic chlorine compounds and dioxins, when incinerated.
SOLUTION: This chlorine-containing plastic is mixed with anhydrous water glass to disperse the anhydrous water glass in the plastic, when molded. Thereby, the hydrogen chloride produced on the incineration treatment of the plastic is neutralized and collected in the anhydrous water glass. The anhydrous water glass is preferably produced by drying foamable water glass, and the drying method is preferably a spray dry method.
