Title:
CHROMINANCE SIGNAL CORRECTING CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0368274
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain color reproduction with high fidelity by providing a nonvolatile memory using the degree of color change designated by a user and a signal to be corrected as an address input and outputting a correction chrominance signal eliminating color turbidity of ink from each color component.

CONSTITUTION: A nonvolatile memory 113 takes notice of a signal level of input color signals C1, M1, Y1, classifies the colors into, e.g. 7 ways Y, M, C, R, G, B, Gy depending on the color component and outputs a color component signal 108 corresponding to the classification. Print color signals C, M, Y are inputted to a color change controller 114 and a print color switching circuit 115 through input terminals 104-106. The controller 114 outputs a color change level control signal 109 from the signal 108 and the printed chrominance signals C, M, Y. A designated chrominance signal K is inputted to a color change level latch 116 through an input terminal 107 to preset the color change level of the designated color. A level conversion nonvolatile memory 117 uses a print input signal 110 and a color change level signal 111 as an address input and outputs the content stored in advance as a correction chrominance signal 112.
