Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chuck device capable of easily detaching a chuck even when it is hard to detach due to firm clamping of a shaft by the chuck.
SOLUTION: This chuck device is composed of a chuck holder 41 with an external thread 46 formed at the outer periphery; a chuck screw with an internal thread 50 formed at the inner periphery so as to be thread fastened to the external thread 46, and a chuck block 57 surrounded by the chuck holder 41 and the chuck screw to fix an inserted shaft 38 by the pressure of tapered faces 45, 53, 59, 60. A chuck opener 61 provided with release pins 65 abutting on the chuck block 57 is disposed on the chuck holder 41. When the chuck block 57 does not come off due to biting into the shaft 38, the chuck opener 61 is struck to apply strong impact to the chuck block 57 with the release pins 65.
