Abstract:
To provide a chuck for ensuring sure surface fixing of a tool to a chuck body.
A chuck main body 12 has a fixing surface 15 for a tool 11 at an opening end of a receiving part 14. The tool 11 can be axially abutted on the fixing surface 15 by a shoulder 19 on the rear side when the tool 11 is inserted. At an end part 20 for supporting the fixing surface 15 of the chuck body 12, a ring element 21 is arranged. The ring element 21 can be supported on the chuck body 12 in the axial direction and has an abutting surface related to a shoulder of the tool 11 for axially fixing the inserted tool 11 to the chuck body 12 by the ring element before a front end adjacent axially to the fixing surface 15.
