Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the security of data on a communication line by updating a ciphering conversion pattern for each transmission destination, revising a conversion variable in the unit of transmission and setting a ciphering key different in the unit of transmission.
SOLUTION: Conversion variables V3t1, V3t2 are calculated according to prescribed arithmetic equations (V3t1, V3t2), and an initial position P of a character code, an extraction interval L of a succeeding code and an extracted number (n) are obtained from a ciphering conversion pattern P3. A ciphering conversion character string S being a ciphering key is generated from character codes a2, a3, a4. Then data D to be sent and consisting of data D1, D2 and the character string S are sequentially exclusively ORed to generate ciphered data Cd1, Cd2. Then a header H including an identification code denoting the ciphered data Cd and its own identifier CP2 is generated and a new variable V3t2 and the data Cd are added thereto and a message of one frame is assembled and the result is transmitted.
