Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a circuit board on which electronic parts to be mounted on the board can be easily positioned without increasing the manufacturing cost.
CONSTITUTION: A circuit pattern is formed on the surface of a circuit board 1A and the pattern is coated with a resist film 4 except the mounting position 3 of a crystal oscillator 2 which is mounted on the pattern while the oscillator 2 is connected with the pattern. Then a position indicating groove 6 is continuously formed outward in the film 4 from the periphery of the position 3. When the position 3 is filled with a potting resin at the time of mounting the oscillator 2 on the circuit board 1A, the potting resin also flows to the groove 6 and the oscillator 2 can be positioned readily and quickly on the board 1A by aligning a prescribed location of the oscillator 2 with the groove 6 carrying the potting resin. Therefore, the oscillator 2 can be always mounted on the board 1A at a proper position.
