Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cut off a load from an AC power supply, when a load current leaks to the ground by a method, wherein 1st and 2nd transformers having primary coils are provided so as to generate outputs the phases of which are opposite to the phase of the ordinary load current in the respective secondary coils. CONSTITUTION: A 1st transformer T1 has a 1st primary coil P1 and a 2nd primary coil P2 , and a 2nd transformer T2 also has a 1st primary coil P2 and a 2nd primary coil P1 . Furthermore, both the transformers T1 and T2 have corresponding same secondary coils S. Corresponding to an ordinary load current I2 , outputs whose phases are practically opposite to the phase of the ordinary load current I2 are generated in the respective secondary coils S of the transformers T1 and T2 . With this constitution, if the load current I2 leaks to the ground accidentally, a load can be cut off from an AC power supply.
