Abstract:
To provide a circuit breaker that can prevent the arc from being extinguished slowly.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker (10) includes a stator (11) provided with a fixed contact (17), a mover (12) provided with a movable contact (18) that can contact the fixed contact, a rotating shaft (13) that moves the mover to open and close the pole, an arc extinguishing portion (20) that extinguishes the arc (K) generated between the fixed contact and the movable contact due to the pole opening operation of the mover, and a contact rotating portion (14) that brings the contact position between the fixed contact and the movable contact closer to the arc extinguishing portion than in the closed pole state when the movable contact and the fixed contact are separated from each other by the pole opening operation of the mover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
