Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the intrusion of dust from an insertion hole easily at the time of using a circuit breaker without housing an accessory in a recessed part for housing an accessory of a breaking mechanism by attaching a seal to the bottom surface of the recessed part to seal an actuator insertion hole.
CONSTITUTION: A breaking mechanism is built in a breaker case 1, which consists of a base 1a and a main cover 1b fixed to this base 1a. A recessed part 3 for housing an accessory of the breaking mechanism is formed in the surface 101 of the main cover 1b opposite to the base 1a, and an auxiliary cover 7 for sealing this recessed part 3 is fitted to the main cover 1b. An actuator insertion hole 4 for coupling an actuator of the accessory with the breaking mechanism is formed in the bottom surface of the recessed part 3 to form a circuit breaker. At this stage, a seal 9 is attached to the bottom surface of the recessed part 3 to seal the actuator insertion hole 4. Intrusion of dust into the breaker case 1 from the insertion hole 4 is thereby eliminated even in the case where the circuit breaker is used without fitting the accessory to the recessed part 3.
