Abstract:
To provide a circuit breaker that does not require to secure a space for fixing an opening/closing mechanism unit to the inside of a housing and is not subject to restrictions on the structure even if the circuit breaker has a small size.SOLUTION: An opening/closing mechanism unit 7 incorporated to the inside of a housing 14 comprises: a handle 16; and an opening/closing mechanism spring 19 that acts on a link mechanism with a closing force through the operation of the handle. For fixation of the opening/closing mechanism unit to the housing, housing-side engagement parts 33a, 34a, 31a, 32 formed on the housing and mechanism unit-side engagement parts 24, 25b formed on the opening/closing mechanism unit act against an operation reaction force generated when the handle is operated. Housing-side engagement parts 31c, 32c, 33, 34 formed on the housing and mechanism unit-side engagement parts 25b, 15a1, 15b1 formed on the opening/closing unit act against the closing force of the opening/closing mechanism spring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
