Abstract:
To provide a circuit breaker capable of suppressing an approach of a foreign material through an exhaust port while avoiding an increase of the number of components.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker includes a power supply side terminal and a load side terminal which are exposed to an external part of a housing, and a fixing contact and a movable contact which are provided onto a cable way between the power supply side terminal and the load side terminal. By contacting/separating the movable contact to/from the fixing contact, the cable way between the power supply side terminal and the load side terminal can be connected and blocked. In a side wall part 201 of the housing, an exhaust port 25 for exhausting an arc gas generated when separating the movable contact from the fixing contact from an inner part of the housing to an external part of them is formed. In the housing, a collection structure 26 collecting a foreign matter entering the inner part from the external part of the housing via the exhaust port 25 is integrally formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
