Abstract:
To provide a circuit breaker capable of reducing the number of components while ensuring the cutoff performance.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker 2 has an opening/closing mechanism 33 that is configured so that a latch member 25 moves from a latch position to a non-latch position to release the latch state and cut-off; thereby the opening/closing mechanism 33 cuts-off an electric circuit 100. The circuit breaker 2 includes an interlocking plate 21 and a movable iron piece 22. The interlocking plate 21 moves between a restriction position that restricts the movement of the latch member 25 to the non-latch position and a permission position that permits the movement of the latch member 25 to the non-latch position. The movable iron piece 22 is provided integrally with the interlocking plate 21, and moves according to the magnitude of the current flowing through the electric circuit 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
