Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit device capable of transmitting error information notifying a user of an abnormality to an outside even when the abnormality occurs in a master clock signal, and a physical quantity detection device, an oscillator, an electronic apparatus, a movable body, an abnormality detection method for the master clock signal and the like.SOLUTION: A circuit device 20 includes: a control circuit 110 activated on the basis of a master clock signal MCK; and an interface circuit 130 having a register section 134 and transmitting data to an outside on the basis of an external clock signal EXCK input from the outside. Further, the register section 134 fetches error information EMK of the master clock signal MCK on the basis of the external clock signal EXCK, and stores the error information EMK fetched. The interface circuit 130 transmits the data including the error information EMK stored in the register section 134 to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
