Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an excellent receiving characteristic by detecting a Doppler frequency with high accuracy and preventing a transmission diversity effect from deteriorating.
SOLUTION: A reception demodulating unit 34 has a path search and path selection unit 9 for measuring a delay profile of a multipath spread signal, respective finger processing units 35_1 to 35_n for despreading a spread signal of each path, calculating a phase variation component as a channel estimate value for each path and using the channel estimate value to perform coherent detection, a phase difference measuring unit 10 for measuring a phase difference from the phase variation component of each channel estimate value, a path timing difference measuring unit 12 for measuring a periodical path timing difference by the delay profile, a frequency error detecting unit 15 for using the path timing difference and the phase difference to detect a signal frequency error, and a Doppler frequency detecting unit 19 for detecting a Doppler frequency on the basis of the frequency error.
