Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a motor at a low noise using a comparatively simple circuit.
SOLUTION: A plurality of command signals are generated according to the rotational speed of the motor. When any one of the plurality of command signals is selected on the basis of the magnetic-pole position of the motor, modulated waves are created. A power converter, which is used to supply drive electric power to the motor on the basis of the modulating waves, is controlled by means of pulse width modulation.
