Abstract:
To provide a circularly polarized antenna that can be more easily manufactured and is reduced in size.SOLUTION: A circularly polarized antenna 1 comprises: a ground conductor plate 10; a fractured annular antenna 20 that is disposed at a predetermined distance away from the ground conductor plate 10; and a power supply unit 40 that is connected to the fractured annular antenna 20 at one end and extends to the ground conductor plate 10 at the other end. In a circularly polarized antenna 1, the power supply unit 40 is exposed from the ground conductor plate 10, so that the radiation from the power supply unit 40 (Eθ component) and the radiation from the fractured annular antenna 20 (Eφ component) are orthogonal; and therefore, circular polarization can be realized. Specifically, the angle width satisfying the axial ratio≤3 dB is around 90° on the Z-Y plane (φ=90°) and around 30° on the X-Y plane (θ=90°), which indicates satisfactory circular polarization characteristics. The resonance frequency is 2.57 GHz and the efficiency is 75.8%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
