Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from leaking into a turbine building till breaking off the connection of a circulating water system from a water source even when an extension joint for a gateway port of a condenser water chamber is damaged due to an impact from an earthquake in the circulating water system.SOLUTION: The circulating water system includes: connection piping 182 of the water chamber; drain piping 21 for transporting circulating water; a drain outlet valve 20 connected to the drain piping 21; a drain-side extension joint 19 connected to the drain outlet valve 20 and the connection piping 182; and a leakage water storage part 31 provided so as to be capable of storing leakage water from the drain-side extension joint 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
