To provide a circulation type grain drier capable of saving energy by further reducing consumption of kerosene fuel.
In this circulation type grain drier, an estimated mean drying dV in performing an air blowing operation under present outside air conditions (temperature, humidity and the like) are constantly calculated after starting a drying operation, and the operation is switched to the air blowing operation by the outside air free from burner combustion, when the estimated mean drying dV is a prescribed value or more on the basis of the estimated mean drying. As the switching to the air blowing operation is performed while constantly monitoring whether the outside air conditions to advance drying exist or not, even when the outside air conditions of the outside air temperature and the outside air humidity change, the air blowing operation can be properly selected and switched, the advance of grain drying can be ensured, and the drying can be performed in safety with good quality without molding on grain of high moisture content and the like. Further the switching of the operation is free from temporal limit as is found in a conventional one, thus energy saving effect to reduce the consumption of kerosene fuel can be further improved.
