To provide clad postcard paper improved in stability with time, ultraviolet-curable ink printability and yellowing resistance through preventing the adhesive layer thereof from deterioration by oxygen, ultraviolet-including light or ozone or the like and preventing its peel strength from decline by ultraviolet irradiation.
The clad postcard paper is such that a substrate is borne with an adhesive layer exhibiting neither tackiness nor adhesiveness in ordinary conditions but exhibiting peelable adhesiveness on pressing and consisting mainly of a pressure-sensitive adhesive and a particulate filler. In the clad postcard paper, the pressure-sensitive adhesive is a blend of a plasticizer and a hydrogenated block copolymer that is prepared by hydrogenating a block copolymer having in the molecule two or more polymer blocks made from an aromatic vinyl compound and one or more polymer blocks made from a conjugated diene compound. The adhesive layer is obtained by coating the substrate with a coating composition comprising an aqueous emulsion made by emulsifying the blend.
