These first wires 8 and second wires 10 are alternately arranged in an axial direction. The first wires 8 are made of a metal material. The second wires 10 are made of the other metal material. The material of the second wires 10 is different from that of the first wires 8. The clad layer 6 covers the main wire 4. The clad layer 6 is made of a metal material. The clad wire 2 has a characteristic derived from the first wires 8 and a characteristic derived from the second wires 10. The characteristic of the clad wire 2 is varied in a longitudinal direction. The clad wire 2 is cut to a wire material.
