PURPOSE: To provide a clamped connection having a simple structure and a reliable function, avoiding the rocking motion of a sheet metal part, and clamping and connecting a profile part and the sheet metal part with a clamping strip to simply compensate an error.

CONSTITUTION: The edge area 12 of a sheet metal part 3, which projects in a receiving device and has a rectangular construction, is fixed in the receiving device by a clamping strip 4 having an approximately T-shaped cross section. The wedge-shaped foot portion of the clamping strip 4 has at least one detent 18 or 18' which interacts with an undercut area of the receiving device. Holding lips formed on the head portion of the clamping strip 4 and extending nearly perpendicularly to the foot portion are supported on the sheet metal part 3 and a profile part 2.
