To stabilize centering in front of a barrel clamp, and reduce equipment installation space to improve work performance by eliminating the necessity of a structure above a barrel.
This clamping apparatus for a fluid packaging barrel includes a cradle 2 on which a fluid packaging barrel 1 is mounted, an elevating cylinder 4 which is installed under the cradle 2 and lowers the cradle 2, and a barrel clamp cylinder 10 which lowers the barrel. The clamping apparatus also includes a barrel connecting probe 13 for making fluid flow into the barrel 1 which is installed under the cradle 2, and of which the periphery is surrounded by a seal packing 7. The barrel 1 is positioned and mounted on the cradle 2 in such a manner that the flange 5 of a mouthpiece 3 neck may be located on the seal packing 7. In addition, the clamping apparatus is constituted in such a manner that the barrel 1 is lowered by clamping the flange 5 by the barrel clamp cylinder 10, and the fluid is made to flow into the barrel 1 by tightly contact-sealing the flange 5 of the mouthpiece 3 neck to the seal packing 7.
